http://chasethf.tumblr.com/ Someone asked how to roll a joint, so I just thought I’d answer. The picture was taken from Wikipedia, so it’s not mine, just filler. Sorry for the length, but it’s a guide! 1.) Break apart your weed. Make sure you take out all stems and seeds so that you don’t get holes in your paper and it doesn’t have any issues burning. Also, I recommend you do it by hand. Grinders break the herb up too fine and make it too tight to get a good hit off of, they’re best left to blunts. 2.) Get your paper. I use Zig-Zag 1.5 Ultra Thins because they burn clean and even. A good way to test papers is to take one, hold it even and light it. It should lit in one straight flame that burns evenly down to your finger. When it’s almost burned down to your finger, let it go and it will burn out before it hits the ground. The less material that’s the left, the cleaner it burns and the higher the quality of the paper is. The straighter the flame, the more even burning the paper.  3.) Fill your paper with bud. Don’t get too ambitious and try and roll a fatty on your first, they’re harder to roll.  4.) Take your paper with bud in it, between both thumbs and forefingers, and gently squeeze the bud to make it stick together, while rolling it into a joint shaped kind of log. Make sure you leave enough room at the tip for a twist, and when you get more experienced at the butt for a filter (for now don’t worry about that). If you want a tapered J (that’s nicer on the lungs) put more towards the tip. If you want a straight doob that will burn more evenly and is easier to roll, evenly distribute it. 5.) This is where most people go wrong. You don’t want to just loosely roll and twist, that will burn terrible and waste your tasty trees, you want to fold, slide, tuck and roll.  Fold- Fold the paper in half evenly. Make sure the corners are even. Slide- Slide the paper down to the bud and make sure that the side of the paper your thumbs are touching is wrapped as tightly around the joint shaped log of bud, but don’t squeeze the bud to where it compacts too tightly. Tuck- Tuck the edge of the paper tightly around the bud and make sure you will be able to roll it tight and easy. Roll- Do just that, roll your j forward with your thumbs, and use your thumbs and forefingers to make sure the paper is as straight and unwrinkled as possible.  Ultimately, you want a straight, unwrinkly, purty little pearl. 6.) Get something you can pack the ends of the joint down with, something long and skinny. Pack anything that may have fallen out while you were rolling, and pack it in tight. Do it to both ends. 7.) Twist the excess paper on the end you’re gonna light up really tight, burn it off, blowing the flame out so it doesn’t light the joint, show it off, take your pictures for tumblr and instagram and then light it like a stoag. 8.) Enjoy the fuck at of that bad boy.
